Airport Transfer & Online Booking Terms
Premier Taxis – Airport Transfer & Online Booking Terms and Conditions
Effective from: 4 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to airport transfers and other journeys booked online with Premier Taxis (“Premier”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By confirming a booking, you accept these Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself and all passengers travelling under the booking.
1. Check Your Booking Carefully
It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that all booking information is correct and suitable for their journey.
Before confirming your booking, you must check:
- pickup and destination;
- journey date and pickup time;
- airport and terminal, where applicable;
- flight number and flight details;
- passenger numbers;
- vehicle selected;
- luggage quantity and size;
- additional stops;
- accessibility or special requirements; and
- the quoted price.
Premier cannot know how much luggage you are carrying, how early you personally wish to arrive at the airport, or whether information entered incorrectly by you is incorrect.
Do not complete your booking unless you are satisfied that the journey, vehicle, pickup time and price are suitable for your requirements.
2. Booking Confirmation and Price
A quote or journey estimate does not by itself create a booking.
Your journey is booked once our booking system confirms it and provides a booking confirmation or reference.
You should check your confirmation immediately.
The price shown is based on the journey information provided at the time of booking. Changes to the journey, vehicle, stops, waiting requirements or other booking details may change the price.
Premier may correct an obvious pricing or technical error identified before the journey takes place. If this happens, you will be offered the corrected price or the opportunity to cancel the affected booking and receive an appropriate refund of any payment made for the unprovided service.
3. Airport Pickup Times and Journey Times
The customer is responsible for selecting their pickup time.
Premier does not determine how much time you should allow before your flight.
Any journey time, arrival time, route or travel duration displayed by our website, booking system or staff is an estimate only.
Premier does not guarantee arrival at an airport or other destination by any particular time and does not guarantee that you will catch your flight or onward connection.
When choosing your pickup time, you should allow sufficient time for circumstances including:
- normal and unexpected traffic;
- roadworks and diversions;
- accidents and road closures;
- adverse weather;
- airport congestion;
- airport drop-off procedures;
- check-in and baggage-drop deadlines;
- airport security;
- terminal transfers; and
- reasonable contingency for unexpected delays.
The amount of contingency you choose to allow remains your responsibility.
4. Flights and Flight Information
Customers must provide the correct flight number and any other flight information requested when booking.
Where Premier provides flight monitoring, this is intended to assist with managing your booking. It should not be relied upon as a substitute for notifying us of significant changes.
Customers should tell Premier as soon as reasonably possible if:
- their flight number changes;
- their flight is cancelled;
- they are transferred to another flight;
- their arrival airport or terminal changes;
- they miss their flight; or
- their travel date changes.
Flight information supplied by airlines, airports or third-party services may occasionally be delayed, incomplete or incorrect.
Premier is not responsible for problems caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer or by a third-party flight information service.
5. Vehicles, Passengers and Luggage
The customer is responsible for selecting a vehicle suitable for the passengers, luggage and other items being carried.
A vehicle’s passenger capacity does not necessarily mean that it can also accommodate the maximum number of passengers together with large amounts of luggage.
You must take account of items including:
- suitcases;
- cabin luggage;
- pushchairs;
- wheelchairs and mobility equipment;
- golf clubs;
- sports equipment;
- musical instruments; and
- oversized or unusual luggage.
Drivers will not overload a vehicle or carry passengers or luggage in an unsafe or unlawful manner.
If the vehicle booked is unsuitable because the passenger, luggage or other information supplied was incomplete or incorrect, Premier cannot guarantee that another vehicle will be available. Additional charges may also apply.
Where a vehicle category is booked, Premier may provide another suitable vehicle within or appropriate to that category rather than a specific make or model.
6. Airport Collections and Waiting Time
Customers must ensure that the mobile telephone number supplied with their booking is correct and available.
For airport collections, Premier may use flight information to assist with planning the pickup.
Where additional waiting time becomes chargeable, it will be charged at £22 per hour, unless a different arrangement has been expressly agreed.
Airport parking, access or other charges may also be payable where these form part of the booking conditions or arise because of additional waiting requested or caused by changes to the original booking.
Significant flight delays may require a journey to be reallocated depending on driver availability and other operational commitments.
Premier cannot guarantee that the originally allocated driver or vehicle will remain available indefinitely following a substantial delay.
7. Changes and Cancellations
Customers should request any change or cancellation as soon as possible.
Changes are subject to availability and may result in a different fare.
Premier cannot guarantee that amendments requested close to the pickup time can be accommodated.
A booking should not be regarded as changed until the amendment has been confirmed by Premier or through our booking system.
Any applicable cancellation charges or refund arrangements will be those displayed or communicated as part of the booking process.
Passenger transport services booked for a specific date or time do not generally benefit from the standard 14-day cooling-off right that applies to many other online purchases.
8. Breakdowns and Operational Problems
Premier operates and works with vehicles which are maintained for passenger transport. However, mechanical, electrical and other unexpected failures can occur.
If a vehicle breaks down or another operational problem prevents it from completing your journey, Premier will make reasonable attempts to arrange a replacement vehicle or alternative transport so that your journey can continue.
We cannot guarantee:
- that a replacement vehicle will be immediately available;
- that the replacement will be the same vehicle type;
- that there will be no delay; or
- that your original anticipated arrival time can be maintained.
The same principle applies where a vehicle is involved in an accident, a driver becomes unexpectedly unable to continue, or another unforeseen operational issue occurs.
9. Delays and Circumstances Outside Our Reasonable Control
Premier will use reasonable care and skill in providing its services.
However, we cannot guarantee that journeys will operate without delay.
Premier will not be responsible for a failure or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
- traffic congestion;
- road traffic collisions;
- road closures;
- emergency roadworks;
- severe weather;
- flooding, snow or ice;
- police or emergency-service incidents;
- airport disruption or closure;
- security incidents;
- industrial action;
- major public events;
- telecommunications or technology failures;
- sudden driver incapacity;
- accidents; or
- vehicle breakdowns or failures occurring despite reasonable maintenance.
Where disruption occurs, Premier will take such reasonable steps as are practicable in the circumstances.
10. Missed Flights and Consequential Loss
Premier does not guarantee that a passenger will catch a particular flight, train, ferry, appointment, event or other onward connection.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Premier will not be responsible for consequential losses such as the cost of:
- a missed flight;
- replacement flights;
- hotels;
- missed holidays;
- onward travel;
- missed appointments; or
- other associated losses,
where the loss results from circumstances outside Premier’s reasonable control, insufficient travel time being allowed by the customer, incorrect booking information, the customer not being ready to travel, an unsuitable vehicle being selected, or another circumstance for which Premier is not legally responsible.
Nothing in these Terms removes any rights the customer has where Premier has failed to provide its service with the reasonable care and skill required by law.
11. No-Shows
Customers must be ready to travel at the agreed pickup time and location.
If Premier or the driver cannot locate the passenger after reasonable attempts to make contact and any applicable waiting period has expired, the journey may be treated as a no-show.
Any applicable charges will be dealt with in accordance with the conditions associated with the booking.
12. Passenger Conduct, Damage and Safety
Premier and its drivers may refuse to carry a passenger where there is a reasonable legal or safety reason, including:
- threatening or abusive behaviour;
- violence;
- serious intoxication;
- unlawful activity;
- unsafe luggage or items; or
- circumstances in which transporting a passenger would be unsafe or unlawful.
Passengers must follow reasonable safety instructions given by the driver.
Customers may be charged reasonable cleaning, repair or other costs where they or members of their party cause damage or excessive soiling to a vehicle.
13. Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for checking that they have removed their belongings from the vehicle at the end of the journey.
Premier will make reasonable efforts to assist with lost property but cannot guarantee that an item will be recovered.
14. Liability and Your Legal Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any consumer right which cannot lawfully be excluded.
Premier will provide its services with the reasonable care and skill required by applicable consumer law.
Subject to those rights, Premier is not responsible for losses caused by:
- incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer;
- an unsuitable pickup time selected by the customer;
- an unsuitable vehicle selected by the customer;
- circumstances outside Premier’s reasonable control; or
- losses which were not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was made.
15. Your Travel Arrangements
Your Premier journey is separate from your agreement with any airline, airport, hotel, cruise operator, railway company or other travel provider.
Premier is not responsible for deciding:
- how early you should arrive at the airport;
- airline check-in times;
- baggage-drop deadlines;
- boarding times;
- airport security waiting times;
- terminal requirements;
- passport or visa requirements; or
- how much time you personally require before departure.
You should obtain this information from the relevant travel provider and choose your pickup time accordingly.
16. Website and Online Booking
Premier takes reasonable steps to maintain its website and booking systems but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Customers should always check that they have received booking confirmation.
If you have not received confirmation, you should not assume that your booking has been successfully created.
17. Privacy
Personal information supplied when booking will be handled in accordance with Premier’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Information may be shared with drivers, operators and relevant service providers where reasonably necessary to arrange and complete the journey.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
